Motherhood Portraits | Fairfield County Family Photographer

Motherhood

Motherhood and family portrait art has lit a fire in me like never before. I am so incredibly lucky to work with families who value art to adorn their homes with a classic, film-style, natural medium of photography. Jennifer’s motherhood journey is one I’ve admired for some time and I am the luckiest to have been able to document this time for her. Like so much that came out of 2020, I first connected with Jennifer while in isolation, when I finally learned how to use Instagram in a meaningful way to connect with other like-minded artists.  She is a fellow photographer, specializing in high-end, gorgeous weddings, and we ended up working together twice this year! Once on my own branding portraits for this website (I am obsessed), and then again when I was given the unbelievable opportunity to photograph her motherhood and family session on the Long Island Sound. I am grateful to be a Fairfield County family photographer with beaches nearby to extend these types of motherhood portrait sessions as an offering.

Jennifer as a mother is everything that I pray for in myself when it becomes my turn. She is fun, patient, hardworking, understanding, and just an absolute gem. It was her faith, her unmatched talent, and her enthusiasm that ultimately drew me to her. Being able to document her motherhood journey was a gift that I thank God for every single day. Surrounding myself with positive influences is a true blessing, and Jennifer is the ultimate example. Jen, thank you for welcoming me into your family to watch the four of you as you truly are together. One unit, all because of your strong foundation of love for family.

Here are some of my favorites from her family’s evening beach motherhood and family session.
