Today is a super important day for me. To be able to share this blog post with you means that my outstanding creative team for this romantic boho chic styled shoot was chosen for a future publication on a wedding blog. To put it simply, today is a dream come true for me. This particular styled shoot had been in the works since February, when I began collaborating with Aoife & Lauren of Jack & Grace Events and Megan from Coppola Creative to curate a boho chic wedding styled shoot. Why is this important? Because we see this theme a LOT in the south, but bringing this DIY charm to our area in New York / CT does not happen often. As the idea started to snowball, incredibly talented people started jumping in to collaborate. I can honestly say that the product you see below would not be what it is without everyone’s HOURS of hard work, preparation, and positivity to create a perfect day.
Before I get into the nitty-gritty creative details, I need to thank EVERY single one of my vendors, especially Charlotte of Lambs Hill. Lambs Hill is a breathtaking venue/ property located in Beacon, New York. When I arrived at the location, tears began to fall down my cheeks. I realized that a dream of mine was right in front of me, thanks to the enormous generosity of Lambs Hill. I feel blessed beyond measure to have met the folks from Lambs Hill and for them to have hosted this. They also own a stunning bridal boutique in downtown Beacon, which I would highly recommend. The dress, with details below, is also from Lambs Hill Bridal Boutique.
To best describe the inspiration behind this styled shoot, here are some words I wrote when submitting it for publication:
This styled shoot marries the backdrop of a breathtaking Hudson Valley, New York wedding venue with a romantic bohemian feel, bringing boho chic inspiration to the northeast. With this blend in mind, each vendor carefully curated their part to provide a crossover of DIY, lush greenery, and colorful florals.
We were so excited to work with our couple, Dianis and Jeff, who are truly in love and have incredible chemistry. This made the entire day so effortless, genuine and full of love. Our stunning venue, Lambs Hill, features the backdrop of the Hudson Valley on a mountain top in beautiful Beacon, New York. All of our vendors worked tirelessly for months to coordinate the style for this New York Boho Chic shoot, and the entire experience was so rewarding. As a collective group, our goal was to bring the natural beauty that comes with a bohemian-styled wedding to the northeast, and to also inspire brides across the country with a rich color palette and hand-crafted details.
I lastly need to thank my partners, Aoife, Lauren and Megan for believing in me. They encouraged me to explore my creative heart and listen to my gut, even throughout our shoot day. By the way, our day was 12 hours long, which is what you will see below. All vendors information is below; I would recommend EVERY SINGLE ONE of them to my brides. Without further ado, here is our finished product from our day.
THAT. RING. Also, those figs!
For the bridal prep portion of the day, we used Lambs Hill’s guest suite above the barn, and it was nothing short of incredible.
The space below is usually the reception area, and provided a rustic, welcoming space for groom prep.Jeff was SUCH an amazing groom, and made the day so much fun.
Dianis, you are beyond stunning. The two had a first look, which actually made most of us cry. Most unexpected part of the day.Motorcycle with side car? Yes, please. The flower crown for our sweet donkey friend was Megan’s favorite part of the day 🙂
The place cards by Coppola Creative were so beautiful and went perfectly with the theme.
Thanks to our friends at Gather & Lounge, Jack and Grace Events put together yet another jaw-dropping vignette with a Hudson Valley backdrop.I have to thank the Moore Family for providing our beautiful gold flatware, matching our theme perfectly.I have to say, the menu on the mirror was TO DIE FOR! Another gorgeous job by Coppola Creative.Photographing the cake was one of my favorite parts of the entire day.
