In the quiet moment when they first saw each other, any nervousness of the day melted away. They held their hands together, taking it all in. This was their day. The day that they would declare their love to each other before their most cherished family and friends. But in those first moments, the focus was just about the two of them. Alex’s face when he first saw his bride was something I will never forget as long as I live. Later on, the two declared their vows right on the water at Land’s End, which signified the strong ties that Alex and Alyssa have to the water. The thing about the ocean water is that it’s always moving, but it does so with beautiful grace. Throughout the many moves that Alex and Alyssa have made to embrace their respective careers, the one thing that remained strong and stood the test of distance was their love.
I feel blessed, lucky, honored and beyond to have had the opportunity to photograph Alex and Alyssa’s wedding. Not only was it a beautiful day, but I was able to connect with the incredible families that provided the loving foundation for these two. It is not difficult to see the sincerity and the strength of love between them. Alyssa and Alex, your wedding day was breathtaking and I am so honored that we were able to be a part of the beginning of this journey!
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is spending time with the girls as they get ready. This group was so special!

There was a special anniversary dance, which ended up honoring the love and commitment of Alex’s grandparents. It was one of the most beautiful moments.
