Today’s blog post is a special one; I get to share Josephine and Matt’s engagement portraits from Lyndhurst Mansion on the Hudson River! Josephine is my cousin (one of MANY in our big Italian family) and from the moment she was born, we had a special connection. She is my gluten-free companion (not so easy when you’re Italian and you love food), and she impresses me every single day with her drive and how she has grown up to be the kind of person I want to be.
When Josephine met Matt, he impressed all of us with his thoughtful attitude and his commitment to Josephine. Their proposal was one for the BOOKS too – Matt had flown back from Air Force training to surprise Josephine, who thought she was just participating in an RIT Hockey halftime game. So excited to share some favorites below. The next time you see these two, I will put the camera down and enjoy their wedding alongside them, as my dear friend Jessica Haley will capture their wedding day!
