Every May for the last few years, I’ve been offering special sessions through my annual Tesora Motherhood Event right before Mother’s Day. I’ve absolutely loved working with strong, wonderful women who are local to me. Last year, I offered everyone a Bartlett Arboretum Motherhood Session, right in the heart of Stamford, CT, my home base.
Bartlett has such a special place in my heart, because I discovered it in the lockdown of 2020. I needed a place to escape the world that was local and offered lots of hiking and things to see. I can now hike the property without looking at a map, and still go there often.
Meghan and Riley were one of my mother-daughter duos who are both so kind, gentle and fun. I was able to document Meghan’s pregnancy through these photos with her second baby girl, and had some time to photograph these portraits of connection while Riley was still the only baby. So grateful for these two and for all the moms who came out for the motherhood event. Here are my top favorites from Meghan’s Bartlett Arboretum Motherhood Session.
